At YPPA, we adhere to practical and efficient systems including disconnection from external distractions and a daily balance of deep concentration, physical exercise and outdoor activity.“My father considered a walk among the mountains
as the equivalent of churchgoing.”
Typically, we have the welcome meeting on the Sunday evening and the farewell lunch on the following Friday noon. We start every morning with meditation and the basic daily exercises. This strengthens your determination to progress on the course, which requires a deepening level of commitment towards greater results. Each session typically starts with some simple, but very specific, exercises designed to prepare body and mind for concentration.
There is a break from 2 - 5pm for planned outdoor activities with English speaking guides and instructors. This is necessary for relaxation and to digest the content of the morning’s teaching.
